With the rumor mill in high gear about a new iPhone announcement now less than a month away, it seems like odd timing for Apple to push out a new bumper color for the existing iPhone 4/4S, but at least this one is for a good cause.
As noted by Cult of Mac, Apple is now selling a (PRODUCT) RED version of its bumper case for the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. Priced at $29 with a ship date in four to six business days, the (PRODUCT) RED bumper is the latest Apple product to be sold to help raise awareness and eliminate AIDS in Africa.
"Dress up your iPhone with an iPhone 4 Bumper," Apple's online store page reads. "Choose one of six colors or (PRODUCT) RED and slip it around the edge of your iPhone. With metal buttons for volume and power, two-tone colors, and a combination of rubber and molded plastic, Bumpers add a touch of style to any iPhone 4S or iPhone 4."
With discounted iPhone 4S models now available almost everywhere, there are still plenty of folks buying the current model instead of waiting for the mythical sixth-generation iPhone which is likely to be announced next month, so this latest bumper makes for a great purchase for those hanging onto their handsets.
