Apple Now Shipping 27-inch Quad-core iMacs
Yesterday, Apple began shipping its new line of high-performance 27-inch iMacs, which are powered with Intel quad-core processors. Those who ordered the machines in October can expect their new systems to arrive on their doorstep any day now.
Apple Insider’s readers have confirmed that Apple has sent them shipment notifications. In October, the new Intel Core i5 and i7 quad-core machines were announced to ship in November. The gigantic 27-inch screen is LED backlit with a 16:9 ratio and a 2560x1440 display resolution.
The new and improved iMacs will run for $1,999 and come with a build-to-order option for $200 more.
