Earlier today, the Apple online store went offline without explanation, spurring a flurry of speculation regarding what possible new products might appear.
Well, when the store came back online, there were no new products, but there was a new feature on some of the older products: social networking.
MacRumors reports that the store now has "Share on Facebook" and "Share on Twitter" links with the Mac Pro and the iPod classic product lines.
The links are accessible by clicking the down arrow on the "Select Now" button next to each product, where you can choose either social networking platform. Clicking on either the Facebook or the Twitter link will open up a new window with the item ready for you to post to your social networking account.

No other product has the social links yet, so we don't know if this is a test of the new service, if it is slowly being rolled out to the entire product line, or if Cupertino just really wants people to talk about the Mac Pro and iPod classic.
