Apple has just release its latest software update for the Snow Leopard operating systems with fixes that will squash bugs related to the Mac keyboard and trackpad becoming unresponsive, as well as a glitch that keeps Adobe's Creative Suite 3 from opening. Safari 5 is also included in this 315MB update and it's available now.
The following glitches have also been fixed:
- issues with copying, renaming and deleting files on SMB file servers
- more reliable VPN connections
- playback issues in DVD player with the Good Quality setting
- issues with editing photos using iPhone or Aperture in full screen mode
- compatibility with braille displays

I've tried twice, one with the Apple, software update, restart and tried. Then I went to support and downloaded again.
I was advised to run disk permissions... then restart, load and should work, but I still get this message about 5 minutes into the update..
"The installation failed.
The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail.. Contact the software manufacture for assistance.
And comments or suggestions?

This is an awesome update to my macbook, especially if it lets me edit my photos in my iPhone. ...They really need a "sarcasm" key, right next to bold, italics, and underline.
