It's well known by now that Lion is probably going to be due out anytime now, what with Apple announcing a July release and all, and given we're starting to run out of July. A new report out today seemed to further solidify rumors that the next Mac operating system could be released this week, as Apple Retail Stores have now received Gold Master copies of OS X Lion.
MacRumors confirmed today that the retail branch of Apple has indeed started to receive copies of the new OS X. The installations arrived on hard drive and were meant for the Apple Retail demo computers located out on the store floors. While it doesn't exactly guarantee a specific launch date per se, we have to be getting close right?
