Apple Reveals The Best-Selling iTunes Content and Apps of 2009

Just in case you're still having trouble figuring out what the top apps are you should get for your iPhone/iPod Touch device, or the best hits in music, Apple has released a "Best of 2009" and "Top Sellers" list according to
Apple Insider.
iTunes Rewind 2009 has given a glimpse into trends for the duration of the year. "Top Sellers" for 2009 in the App Store were divided into two sections: Games and Apps. Featured games included The Sims 3, The Oregon Trail, Madden NFL 10 and Flight Control. Top apps were MLB.com at Bat, Textfree Unlimited, ColorSplash and The Moron Test. All of the above software are paid apps. Most of the apps earned at least four stars for their customer reviews such as: ReelDirector, I Am T-Pain, SketchBook Mobile and Jamie Oliver's 20 Minute Meals.
In the music section, the top selling single of 2009 was "Boom Boom Pow" by the Black Eyed Peas. iTunes' editorial staff chose Michael Jackson for Artist of the Year, and album "Only by the Night" by Kings of Leon took honors as Album of the year.
Other highlights included TV shows, podcasts, audiobooks, and movies.
