The American Customer Satisfaction Index handed Apple its best score ever of 85 points in its annual report. The report is based upon users opinions of computer quality and support of that computer after the sale.
The group does attribute much of Apple's success on the debacle known as Microsoft Vista. While Apple's satisfaction rating grew, all other computer firms, with the exception of Dell, saw drops in their customer satisfaction.
“It’s hard not to be impressed with Apple,” said Prof. Fornell. “This is product extension at its best where the new products, iPod and iPhone, are helping bring new customers to existing computer products. The fact that Apple is not dependent on the Windows Vista operating system hasn’t hurt either.”
Oh burn!
