Despite some rumors last week that Mac OS 10.6.7 may be ready to release to the public, Apple pushed another delta build on Thursday, marking the fifth version seeded to developers.
MacRumors is reporting that Apple seeded Mac OS 10.6.7 Build 10J858 to developers on Thursday, just a week after Build 10J855. The new build is 434.4MB, an increase of just over 20MB from the previous version.
“According to those familiar with the new build, Apple has added Safari to the list of areas in which developers are asked to concentrate their testing, joining Mac App Store, AirPort, Bonjour, SMB, and Graphics Drivers that had been included in previous builds,” MacRumors writes. “Once again, no known issues are listed in the documentation.”
It’s difficult to say when Apple might close the book on Mac OS 10.6.7 and release it to the public -- many expected that to happen this week, given that the previous build also had no known issues, but the new version has only been in external testing for about a month, so we could have a little time yet before it officially gets offered to all.
