Apple Updates iTunes App With Ability to Download Purchased Songs "Not On This Device"
Apple seems to have busy secretly installing fancy new features onto our iOS devices. Our latest discovery is the ability to download music you're purchased from the iTunes store that you haven't synced to your iOS device. Just launch the iTunes app, head over to Purchased and you'll be presented with the new feature.
Exciting!
This is super awesome for anyone that's purchased music, then had a HD crash and lost said paid for musical delights.
Yeah, that happened to me. I'm so happy right now. SQUEEEEE!!!
Check out the gallery below of the new feature.
PRO TIP: Download albums instead of individual tracks.

I lost music from my iPhone when I accidentally synced it to my PC iTunes (my MacBook was stolen, so my iPod and iPhone were my only backups for music).
Yesterday I got my new MacBook and synced my iPhone 3G to iTunes and -- how weird is this -- ALL my old content was restored, even stuff I didn't buy from iTunes. Yet, and here's the really weird part, it's still not in my iTunes library!! I was going to download the new iTunes beta but now I'm afraid to lose what's back on my iPhone. Any thoughts?
