Apple this morning released updates to two of its pro application suites, Logic Studio and Final Cut Pro studio.
Final Cut Pro Studio boasts of over a 100 new features including the ability to share your video project via iChat Theater for real-time collaboration. The new Final Cut Pro studio includes, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Soundtrack Pro, Color and Compressor. The suite will set you back $999 or upgrade for $299.
Logic Studio has over 200 new features. The most exciting is what they borrowed and enhanced from GarageBand, the Amp Designer and Pedalboard plug-ins. Like GarageBand, users can create their own audio sound using various amp and guitar pedals for sweet onstage shredding action. The Logic Studio suite includes Logic Pro and MainStage, Apple's live performance app. Logic Studio will cost you $499 or you can upgrade for $199.
Both suites are available for purchase today, so we expect your new album and music video to be done by next Friday. Bad news for G5 owners, both suites are Intel only.
In addition to Logic Studio, Apple also unveiled the new Logic Express for GarageBand users that are ready to step up to the next level. The new audio app will be available in August for $199. We'll keep an eye out for that app.
