I’m currently saving up points on my easy saver reward scheme account towards a new iMac, it would be fantastic if they lowered the price soon and that’s what brick was all about. Apple could easily outsell Microsoft if their products had a more attractive price tag.

Hey (or hay), there's (theirs) more than one (won) word that sounds right (wright). It should be "too low" instead of "to low", and "it would affect [verb] Apple" instead of "effect" [noun].

Otherwise, it was a grate, or great, article.

Does anyone proofread these little missives?

I have no clue what the brick will be, I know what I would like it to be. My brick will be the newest version of the Mac Pro, the one that will sweep aside all Mac and Windows machines in terms of speed, memory, and usability at a cost that will allow many more people to have a really high quality, high speed computer capable of rapidly processing large images files and supporting the newly released Adobe CS4 products. I am awaiting the next version of the Mac Pro. When it arrives, I will be clicking the "order" button and then selling my Dell 380.

cheers,

Joe

The Brick is:

OS10 that runs on PCs. Certified configurations will be supported by Apple,,, just buy the OS and install it right beside Windows,,, Breaking the Windows on millions of potential Switchers.

Anything that Apple can do to bring it one step closer to the majority. Always on the cutting edge.... "it just works", is an understatement! Good Times!

I would love it even if the Macbook would drop a few hundred $; my wife's birthday is 10/18, so if the 10/14 date rumor is to be believed, that'd be perfect timing for me to get her one. Ahhh, I can dream.

Regardless, I think "Brick" whatever it is will be pretty fantastic!

Choice name... it'd be like calling a product a "lemon".

I personally would LOVE to see a MacBook for under 500 bucks! But the likeliness of this happening isn't that great. Because, as we suffer, so does Apple in the economy situation. People with less of a budget don't have the money to buy Mac.

If at all possible I'd like to see a greater Student Discount instead of just the 40-90 dollars we save now. And since I'm still in high school and my income is less than mentionable, 90 dollars off a MacBook or iMac is a nice little chunk of change but would be better if the discount was greater. But I'm grateful for even that, so I'm not complaining.
