@AppStore Available To Follow On Twitter

While Apple had previously set up a Twitter account for iTunes quite awhile ago, today the App Store finally got some tweet lovin' as Apple set up an official Twitter account. Shown above, Apple is aiming to promote new apps, as well as tossing out some exclusive app offers! Hmm, what could that mean perhaps?
Maybe Apple doing a little cross promos with developers to toss out some discounts? Or maybe even a new means of getting developers to give away some promo codes for apps?
The App Store does currently have a Facebook fan page. However, maybe Apple will use Twitter as a chance to promote some apps that don't always make the front page of the App Store.
The social networking fun with Apple doesn't stop there. As we mentioned above, the company already has a Twitter account for iTunes, as well as a rather popular YouTube channel, that features software guided tours, recordings of Apple events, and product videos by the Apple exec team.
So what are you waiting for? Give the App Store some follow love!
