AT&T Offers iPhone 3G at No-Commitment Price
Starting March 26th, AT&T will offer the 8GB and 16GB iPhone 3Gs as a no-commitment price—$599 and $699, respectively.
The upside is that you no longer have to activate your iPhone before you leave the store. However, there’s a limit of one unit per phone line, which means you’ll need to activate an AT&T line or already have a contract with the provider.
Could this be an indication that a new iPhone is in the works? Until then, check out some of the ads AT&T is running for the no-commitment iPhone deal.

Really....what’s the point?
The only provider you can use in the U.S.A. (for now) is AT&T, so why not let them pay for it, as long as you have to use them anyway?
