AT&T Realizes the Error of its Ways - Internet Cheers
Posted 04/03/2009 at 6:20:36pm | by Roberto Baldwin

attAfter freaking out earlier because AT&T's new TOS pretty much killed half of our favorite apps on the iPhone, we're happy to report that AT&T has retracted its Terms of Service changes. Here is the statement the company sent to Engadget:

The language added on March 30 to AT&T's wireless data service Terms and Conditions was done in error. It was brought to our attention and we have since removed it. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

It's the corporate version of "Dude, my bad." We can all enjoy our weekends knowing that we won't have to spend it looking through pages of AT&T Terms of Service looking for a way out of our wireless contracts.

Enjoy your weekend folks!

No one you've paid that much money to should ever be allowed to call you dude. What's the corporate equivalent of sending them to Juvi?
