Bento for iPhone has reached a sales milestone.
According to the FileMaker press release, the mobile version of Bento has sold over 100,000 copies since its launch earlier this year. If you add it all up, that means that FileMaker has made approximately $499,000 off of mobile Bento.
Bento, a more consumer-oriented database and organization software for the Mac allows users to create many types of databases to store information. The iPhone app allows Bento users to then sync their data to the device for mobile database usage.
It is interesting to see that database software for the iPhone is selling so well. Normally when we talk about top selling items on the App Store, it's normally a game, not a productivity application. It should give developers in this field something to look forward to for their applications.
The Bento iPhone application is priced at $4.99 and is currently available from the App Store [iTunes link].
