Let's face it, gaming gets expensive and prior to walking into a store to see what your used games are worth, you're going to want to know what to expect. I mean, you drove all the way out to Uncle Ted's House of Comics, Gaming and Minimal Eye Contact, you want to know what's in store for you...
Per Joystiq, the cool cats at Best Buy have just released the company's Gaming app. The newly-released version 1.7 of the app features a new trade-in valuator, which allows you to learn how many bucks a given game will fetch at your nearest Best Buy and whether it's worth the journey.
You can even find a game's value by scanning its barcode with your iPhone's camera and having the app check the price.
And to be honest, even if you're not looking to pawn your old junk for the new hotness, there's no denying that it's just fun to scan things.
The Best Buy Gaming app requires iOS 3.0 or later to install and run.
