If you're a non-Verizon customer looking to pick up the Verizon iPhone on February 10, and Best Buy is your lone avenue of retail, you're in luck. The electronics behemoth made the announcement today that they will be carrying the iPhone on February 10, the same day it goes on sale to the rest of the general public at Apple and Verizon stores.
"The iPhone 4 is an important device for Best Buy and we are excited to help Apple and Verizon Wireless bring it to even more consumers," says Shawn Score, president of Best Buy Mobile. "Our customers have come to expect Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores to carry the best selection of mobile phones anywhere, and offering the iPhone 4 on Verizon's network is our latest effort to deliver on that promise."
Originally, it was called for only Verizon and Apple stores to carry the phone during the launch period, but Apple did mention that authorized resellers would also sell the device.
As a reminder, existing Verizon customers can begin pre-ordering tomorrow, and general orders and reservations are to start on February 9th with availability on February 10.
