The good folks over at Mac 512 recently reported that with the upcoming release of the iPad, spammers are trying to dupe users into thinking something is worng with their order from the Apple Store.
A Mac 512 user claims that his Apple Mail worked by not letting him see the spam email by initially dumping it into his Junk email folder. He did state that while he did have an order with the Apple Store, it was not the same order number as the email claimed. Apple Mail allows one to hover their cursor over a link to see what URL it links too. However, in this case, "zoskalesdiamond . com" showed up.
So, bottom line is if you have an iPad on the way, stay on top of your game for any emails that might appear in your inbox. Check on Apple's actual web site instead to keep up on the status of your order.
See the below example of the email that the user shared to see if you've come across anything similar.
