Bill Shrink Releases an iPhone vs. Android Cost Comparison Chart
In case you've been considering steering clear of the iPhone 4, you might want to take a look at this: a comparison chart detailing the differences between each of the latest and greatest smart phones. The graphic depicts the differences between AT&T's iPhone 4, Verizon's Droid Incredible (manufactured by HTC), Sprint's HTC Evo 4G and Google's Nexus One (also manufactured by HTC, and available to use on T-Mobile or AT&T).
So far, iPhone 4 is in the lead with the highest memory capacity, though the other three Android phones can be expanded up to 32GB. Additionally, the iPhone 4 also wins in the categories battery life, screen size and number of applications available in the native iTunes App Store.
Perhaps the biggest surprise is the fact that in the end, an AT&T plan for the iPhone 4 actually saves you some cash in comparison to other providers. Check out the chart for yourself below, and then head over to Bill Shrink to give them a high five.

AT&T navigator is not the same as gps. Does it use GPS? Yes. But you don't need AT&T navigator to take advantage of the GPS. You can use the built-in maps application, or use a free app from the app store such as Mapquest. There are also other paid apps that use the GPS in the app store.

The crazy idea comes from the AT&T website.
GPS
AT&T Navigator(SM) for iPhone $6.99 Promo
$6.99/monthIn the interest of full disclosure I do not have an iphone yet. So, do i not need to pay Ma' Bell for this service?

Not sure where this crazy idea came from, but GPS is included in the iOS. AT&T has nothing to do with it, and there is definitely no added cost.

While all these devices have GPS, AT&T wants $6.95 a month for the service and it's included on the Sprint EVO with the LARGER SCREEN. That adds another $167.00 to the total cost over 24 months.

iPhone has a smaller screen size! The resolution is "better" so iPhone doesn't have the best screen size.
The iPhone also doesn't have an unlimited data plan.
Plus the features u can have on the droid os not to mention they make it easy to root your phone. I have an iphone 3GS and I like my phone a lot. I don't care for os4 and I'm still gonna jb my phone

Uh, the screen is better, better resolution and ips, not crappy 2004 LCD 99 cent screens.. And if you jailbreak your iPhone with iOS 4.0 then you either are really really nerdy and like to experiment with the iPhones core services level (C command line programming) or you have no idea what you r doing and have nothing better to do in your life. All the same, u do have an iPhone, so high five :)

uhhhh so you must be an apple tool. If steve jobs came out with a iphone that pooped in your ear everytime you answered it youd prolly buy it.
if you actually read what i wrote and took it into context you would understand my comment.I jailbreak my phone because that allows me to do the things that steve jobs doesn't want me to do that i like being able to do. you prolly dont jb your phone cuz jobs told you his product is the best thing ever. bet you prolly stood hours in line to get the new iphone and prolly got one with yellow dots or lines on the screen huh? prolly scratched it already too.
nerdy or not i would rather be that then a lame apple sheep that would sniff jobs butt if he said hed give you a $5 itunes card as a reward
high 5?
