If you need to create powerful slideshows with full control over the end results, you've no doubt discovered FotoMagico, one of the best solutions available for the Mac -- and now, a trio of new features are making it even better.
Germany's Boinx Software have announced the availability of FotoMagico 4.2, a free update for existing users of the Mac slideshow application which adds a few welcome changes.
The big news with FotoMagico 4.2 is the addition of Masks, a feature that makes working with multiple layers easier and more fun than before. Masks can be applied to images, movies or titles in the shape of a rectangle or oval to highlight or hide a specific area of the selected layer.
“Masks are the kind of advanced feature that power users crave,” explains Oliver Breidenbach, CEO, Boinx Software. “Masks give users the next level of creative freedom, making it easier than ever before to create stunning animation effects and evoke specific emotions within the audience."
FotoMagico 4.2 also brings support for OS X Mountain Lion's Auto-Save feature, a major lifesaver for times when you forgot to save manually. Last but not least, a new Opacity control allows users to easily set the layer opacity for creating partially transparent images, movies or titles in a slideshow project.
FotoMagico 4.2 is available now as a free update for existing customers, and the application is available on the Mac App Store or Boinx website for only $79.99, a 20 percent discount available for a limited time only.
