Remember Carmageddon, the late-90s, ultraviolent, mow-down-pedestrians driving game? It came out today for iPad and iPhone, thanks to a wildly sucessful Kickstarter project, and it's free for the first day. Which, like I said, is today. So you should go download it. Today.
Inside you'll find a 36-level Career mode, 11 envirnoments, 30 unlockable cars, iCloud and Game Center support, achievements and leaderboards, and you can replay your best killing sprees and even send them straight to YouTube. It's perfectly optimized for iPhone 5, but you can play it with an iPhone 3GS or later, iPod touch third-gen or later, or any iPad, as long as you have iOS 5.1 or later.
It's rated 12+ for "frequent/intense cartoon or fantasy violence," plus mild/infrequent appearances of drug use, realistic violence, horror/fear, profanity or crude humor, and mature/suggestive themes. Awwwwww yeah. (Seriously, it's fun to play adult games on iOS sometimes. Man cannot live on Angry Birds alone, and all that.)
GO GET IT! And once you've played it, let us know what you think in the comments.

You can move the controls around on the screen, but it's tap, not tilt.

I flipped my car and it slid into that guy. That's a style bonus. Yeah.
