News:
So, we like to imagine you are reading this article on the Mac|Life app on your jailbroken iPhone, but if you're still not sure how all this jailbreaking is supposed to work, comex et. al made it easy for you...and it's so easy, this joker decided to film himself doing just that in, of all places, an Apple store; how's that for moxie?...not to be completely overshadowed, the Dev Team came up with their iPhone 4 Unlock that also fixes Skype multitasking...or if you prefer FaceTime one of the things you might want to do with your jailbroken iPhone is some FaceTime on 3G instead of just Wi-Fi... but holy moley, don't bring down AT&T's fragile network doing it, this stuff is data intensive, as you'd imagine...and if you're thinking later on the jailbreaking, you may want to move now, as Apple is looking into this PDF vulnerability issue...meanwhile, our advice? Don't download any untrustworthy PDF files, all right?...whether this gets addressed in the iOS 4.1 we'll have to wait and see, but Apple's dropped the beta along with SDK 3 in developers' hands...so what do these iPhones of which we speak cost around the world? Here comes the graph to answer that very question...speaking of around the world, the latest iPhone killer (snicker) may not be enough to bring down Apple's baby...heck, it may not be enough to help troubled RIM with its international woes...meanwhile, could trouble be brewing for Apple with Android? It appears Google's operating system "sells" more than Cupertino's; could this be Windows all over again?
Meanwhile, Apple's rolling out iPad App Store upgrades that are just the ticket...pair that with our weekly tips for iPad users and you've got yourself a nice bucket of sweetness for the weekend...hopefully you'll soon be reading this on your government-approved iPad in Beijing...speaking of reading, it looks like Amazon was clever to put out a Kindle app, as they still manage to rule the roost in e-book land, despite the awesome sauce that is the iPad; well played, Bezos...FOR NOW, that is, as Apple moves into third place in the portable computer market on the back of a litle something they call the iPad...of course, here's the question: are you paying too much for this 3G connectivity? (we don't want to give away too much, but it's AT&T we're talking about here, people)...and what would an iPad article be without the rumor mill which never no never stops churning, which means it's imaginatin' time with mockups galore...and speculation about front facing cameras and so forth...and so on, like Intel inside; this one is a rumor we sorta kinda have to credit...
