With all of the gadgets invading our homes and workspaces, it’s no surprise that one product category that’s exploding these days are charging systems -- particularly multi-gadget chargers like the ones Idapt is showing off at this year’s CES.
Engadget got a hands-on look at Idapt’s 2011 model charging systems at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. New models include the i2+, which “simultaneously charges three different devices (plus one via USB), and comes bundled with six tips for charging pretty much any gadget you can throw at it. The tips can be interchanged quickly by clicking on either side, and it even puts your devices on display,” as shown in the photo above with an iPhone.
On the more eco-friendly side, Idapt’s i1 Eco universal charger “utilizes the same interchangeable tip system, but only has room for one in addition to a USB port. This one has hot swappable end tips for charging in the car or on the go, and costs around $25.”
If you’re in the market for a universal charger to tame your family’s crazy assortment of gadgets, jump over to Engadget and check out their hands-on gallery with the whole CES 2011 lineup from Idapt.
