Let’s face it: We’re all looking for ways to spice up mundane photos, otherwise apps such as Instagram wouldn’t have explosive growth. If your interests lean more toward comic books, a new universal app has just hit the store that could very well swoop in and save the day for your tired old snapshots.
3DTOPO Inc. has just released their latest app, ComicBook!, a universal iOS app that offers a long list of features for using the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad to reinvent your photos into a slick comic book that can be published to Twitter, email or Facebook, where you’ll also get the advantage of in-app photo tagging.
“ComicBook! is the FULL featured comic book creation app,” the App Store description reads. “Now you and your friends can be stars in your own comic book adventures complete with realistic comic styling, captions, graphics and multi-panel page layouts. Publish direct to Facebook with in-app photo tagging!”
We can hear the skeptics among you proclaiming that there are already a few apps on the App Store for creating little comic book images, but ComicBook! looks to make it easier and more fun than ever before, including 30 unique page layouts in both portrait and landscape, 55 classic comic graphics that can be scaled or rotated with just a tap, seven licensed comic fonts and a host of other features such as auto scaling text caption styles, customizable comic photo filters with three optional halftone styles and more.
Perhaps the best news of all is the price, which is 99 cents for a limited time only. ComicBook! is a 20.5MB universal app compatible with any iOS device running iOS 4.0.2 or later.
