Invites went out today for the already much-anticipated October 23 event, and we can't wait to see what Apple has to show -- the general consensus is that this is the iPad Mini, although the event invitation doesn't say. It doesn't say anything about the mini in the invitation, but look at the wording: We've got a LITTLE more to show you. I think that's a hint.....

Exactly, sounds like a hint to me! And I'd prefer a 16GB iPad mini to a 32GB iPod Touch (both should be around the same price of $299) so I'm glad I held off on purchasing the new iPod Touch...
