With iPads making their way to eager consumers as we speak, content providers are hustling in an attempt to ditch Flash video in favour of HTML5 in an effort to make their websites more palatable to the users of Apple's iconic new tablet.
According to the folks over at DownloadSquad, Brightcove, the media service provider that outfits popular sites such as the New York Times and Time Magazine with their video content, has announced that they'll be moving forward with their future content in HTML5 format.
This is great news for iPad users eager to surf the internet without compromise, and illustrates the influence the device is having on the web world even before its gotten into hands of consumers.
