Core-i7 iMac's show significant power boots

According to Macrumors, and a blog entry at Timon-Royer.com, the new iMacs are fast, but the new Intel Core i7-based iMacs are even faster. The new Core i7 iMac (results pictured in green below) is significantly faster than the Core 2 Duo 21.5" iMacs. It even boasts a 35% increase in performance over the Core i5 model, and for only $200 more, it seems like a better investment.
Another update from Timon Royer corrects a minor error on the Core
i5-based data and adds results comparing the iMac models to the latest
Mac Pro models. Below are the benchmark results.
