Adobe is getting ready to roll out a number of significant updates for Creative Cloud subscribers, starting with this week's update to Adobe Muse, which adds built-in support for contact forms as well as Japanese availability.
Adobe has announced an update to Muse, the company's Mac software for graphic designers who want to create websites without writing code. While the software is available as a standalone version, Adobe Creative Cloud subscribers also receive the update at no additional charge.
"Starting today Adobe Muse includes new built-in support for contact forms allowing users to easily add, configure, and style contact forms into their website designs and eliminating the need of having to embed HTML code from third-party online form providers," the company notes in a press release.
"This new feature allows designers to maintain precise control over their designs, provides more efficient support for publishing, and is the beginning of a longer-term effort to bring more extensive content management capabilities to Adobe Muse users through tighter integration with Adobe’s hosting solution, Adobe Business Catalyst," the release adds.
Adobe Muse users will also be able to link to downloadable files of any type, including PDF, ZIP, DMG or even EXE, while designers can add HTML5 animations created with Adobe Edge with ease.
Finally, Adobe reminds existing Creative Suite customers who might be considering a Creative Cloud membership that the company's $29.99 per month introductory pricing promotion ends on August 31, 2012, after which time a subscription will cost $49.99 per month.
