Display Your Creative Skills in the DesignByMany Contest!
It's long been the sentiment that Mac users are simply more creative than their PC brethren. Obviously, that's neither fair nor entirely accurate, but it's a feeling that's been embraced by the creative community to the extent that you'll find Macs almost by default in many, if not most artistic agencies. When the call to creative action sounds, therefore, count on Mac users to answer the challenge in force.
This time around, the creative community at DesignByMany is holding a competition -- the Buidling To Building Pedestrian Bridge Challenge -- wherein architectural teams are tasked with designing a functional bridge between any two existing real-world structures. Among the requirements for the bridge are the stipulations that it must be modular, and it must be deployable within a 1-week or shorter time frame. Could this be part of a larger initiative? Enter now to find out! The winner will receive an HP DesignJet T790 24" PostScript ePrinter valued around $3,000.
If you are, or know of a design professional or firm, or even just want to give yourself a great challenge, the full rules and terms are set up on the DesignByMany site. This is a perfect opportunity to be a part of a thriving, creative community and further the notion that Macs are, indeed, the tools of choice for creatives everywhere. Don't dawdle, though; the deadline for submissions is June 26!
