There are likely to be a tidal wave of Mac updates coming soon now that OS X Mountain Lion is about to arrive, but some have already made the necessary arrangements, which includes menu bar calendar app Fantastical.
Flexibits Inc. has updated its slick Mac menu bar calendar app Fantastical to version 1.3.2 on Wednesday, and the biggest news is that it's ready for Apple's imminent release of OS X Mountain Lion.
But that's not all -- Fantastical has also been further enhanced for the MacBook Pro with Retina Display, and also adds support for simple repeating reminders. Users can also now press the Space bar on their keyboard when viewing a selected Reminder to toggle its completion state.
Of course, no release would be complete without a plethora of bug fixes, and Fantastical 1.3.2 definitely has 'em (fixes, that is). Among them are fixes for an error that could appear when loading Reminders or certain repeating Reminders getting hung up, as well as addressing a potential problem for iCloud users who have a pre-MobileMe account originally set up with Mac.com. (Hey, that's us! Thanks, guys!)
Topping off the latest release, Mac users can nab Fantastical 1.3.2 for 50 percent less right now -- it's only $9.99 for a limited time from either the Mac App Store or the Flexibits website, down from its normal $19.99. Now that's quite fantastical all on its own…
