Listen, we love gaming on the iPad. It's just that virtual controls are simply not an effective option. The best games almost always have unique control methods that don't involve pressing pretend buttons. Think Angry Birds. But Fling Joysticks are a great option for getting some enjoyment out of games that insist on using virtual controls. Now, these little wonder devices are available in Apple stores nationwide.
This isn't the first time we've doted on Ten One Design's wonder sticks. They got an Editor's Choice 4.5/5 in our review (beating out a different iPad joystick in a head to hear battle,) and we even made a little video where you can see first hand Robbie getting completely absorbed into a game of Street Fighter IV with the Fling Joysticks.
Well apparently Apple likes them just as much because now it has been announced that they'll begin carrying them in their retail locations around the country. They'll be available for $19.95 each or in a double-pack for $29.95.
So if you're sick of virtual joysticks in your shooting games, fighting games etc be sure to scope out a pair of these bad boys at your local Apple Store.
