Love or hate Apple and their products, a French-German TV channel is looking for you to participate in a new 60-minute documentary that will air later this year on the iconic company -- and here’s how you can have your voice heard.
French-German television channel Arte is preparing a new 52-minute documentary on Apple, Inc. which will debut in France and Germany later this year, with other countries to follow. Directed by Sylvain Bergère, the filmmakers are currently traveling across Europe collecting interviews with fans (and foes) of Apple products, and will be heading to the United States and Canada in June.
“We are looking for people who love Apple, or hate it, who are about to marry in an Apple Store, or want to break all their Macs, people who want to sing a song dedicated to iPhones, or create a movie on their iPad, to make a long story short, people who plan to make anything possible with their Apple devices,” explains Dimitri Kourtchine after contacting MacLife.com via Facebook.
“We will meet anonymously [with people] from all around the world, as well as with marketing, design and philosophy specialists to understand what makes Apple successful,” Kourtchine concludes. “More than analysis of the marketing, we would like to show how Apple mirrors the evolution of the contemporary societies.”
The filmmakers are currently traveling through France, Italy, United Kingdom and Germany, en route to the United States and Canada in June -- which is where you come in!
If you’re interested in being interviewed for the as-yet untitled project, the producers would like to hear from you. Drop them an email to express your Apple desires (or dislikes) and why you should be featured, and the filmmakers will get back in touch with you if there’s interest -- and be sure to tell ‘em that MacLife.com sent you!
