French game publisher Gameloft has pulled the lid off of its interesting new iOS action game with some new information. Last week, the company released a trailer for the game but declined to give any actual details. Now we have a new video of the game in action, and news that it will be published on the App Store next month under the name Sacred Odyssey: Rise of Ayden.
The trailer Gameloft released has invited numerous comparisons to Nintendo's console series The Legend of Zelda. It's a 3D action game that seems to feature many of the same features as that series, namely, sliding block puzzles, huge boss battles, sword combat, and horse riding.
You can check out the video for yourself below. Very few games have ever truly nailed the Legend of Zelda gameplay formula before in the past, so we'll be watching this game with great curiosity.
