MacTech magazine takes a technical approach to the world of Apple products, and its BootCamp seminars are a great place to get educated and network. But this year's BootCamp II will offer another way for anyone working in the consulting or IT field to better themselves. A day prior to each 2013 event, you can get certified in Microsoft Office for Mac.
"Microsoft Office for Mac has always been at the heart of most professional Apple installations," said MacTech Magazine editor-in-chief Neil Ticktin. "With Office 365, Web Apps, an array of collaboration options, and more, consultants need to have the right knowledge to support their clients not only in making the best solution decisions, but also in helping them to understand the features available to them."
Ticktin makes a valid observation: movement to the cloud, via Office 365, may blur the lines between Windows and Mac productivity even further. The MacTech team worked with Microsoft to develop the training, which covers subjects like Office Web Apps, licensing, SkyDrive, and troubleshooting. The program is specifically geared for Apple consultants and IT professionals.
Seven BootCamp II events will take place around the country in 2013, with the Office for Mac program running for a single day. And you can save some dough if you register now, thanks to a special link for Mac|Life readers. See? We love you.
