Apple recently announced that the MobileMe Calendar component of me.com was about to get a beta facelift, and now we have some images to show off the new look, which borrows liberally from its cousin app on the iPad.
9to5Mac was fortunate enough to get an early look at the new MobileMe Calendar web app that Apple is currently beta testing. The first thing you notice from the images is how much it looks like the Calendar app on the iPad, and 9to5Mac is happy to report that “it looks and works great.”
Back on July 6, Apple announced that it was taking invitations for “a completely new version of MobileMe Calendar” and there have been scattered reports of e-mail notifications showing up in users’ inboxes at last.
Here’s another image with the Calendar web app’s Day view displayed:

9to5Mac has some additional screenshots on their site, so be sure to check them out -- and then start watching your MobileMe inbox for your own invite. If you haven’t requested an invitation yet, you can do so right here. You need to be a MobileMe member with iOS 4 on your iPhone or iPod touch, iOS 3.2 on iPad and Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.4 on your computer to join the beta. Good luck!
