Google seems to be taking its sweet time updating its library of iOS apps for the iPhone 5's larger display, with the latest being Google+ -- which also adds support for pages, post editing and searching on the iPad.
Google has released a version 3.2 update to the free, universal Google+ app, and for iPhone 5 owners it's sure to be a welcome one. However, the update adds more than just support for the four-inch display on the iPhone 5.
In addition to general support for iOS 6, Google+ 3.2 also allows owners of pages on the company's social network to view, post and comment from within the app -- a change that's sure to please those who use it for small business or just sharing specific interests with others.
The app update also allows the editing of posts for the first time, another welcome change for those who prefer to use Google+ while on the go instead of being chained to a desktop or laptop computer.
Last but not least, Google+ for iOS now offers the ability to search for people and posts on the iPad, a feature that was strangely lacking from previous versions.
Google+ 3.2 is now available as a 17.4MB download from the App Store, compatible with all devices running iOS 5.0 or later.
