The Google Mobile app for iPad was released this week and it's now available in the iTunes App Store. The app is free and you can get your own copy here [iTunes link].
The updated app works on the iPad and the iPhone and provides search by voice, location awareness, Google Suggest, search history, e-mail search, contact search, vertical search through Google Maps, Images, News and Shopping, and quick access links to Google applications (i.e. Maps and Gmail). Reviews of the app for the iPad have not been completely positive. Users are complaining that the app does not utilize the iPad's larger screen resolution in an effective manner and that ot lacks Mobile Safari integration.
