Tired of taking screenshots and having them clutter up your desktop? Want to instantly store the screenshots online and automatically copy the link to the clipboard? Sure you could do this manually, but a new tool called GrabBox hopes to save you some time and do this task automatically.
GrabBox works with your Dropbox online storage and allows you to take a screenshot using the Mac OS X shortcut keys Command + Shift + 3 and Command + Shift + 4. When you do this, you'd expect the screenshots to instantly clutter your desktop, but instead they are whisked away to your Dropbox public folder and the shortened URL to the file on Dropbox is copied to your clipboard.
Pretty nifty, huh? In the GrabBox preferences you can select your URL shortener of choice (we use Bit.ly). You can also select options to prompt you before uploading the screenshot, to use random filenames, and make random filenames longer.
You can download GrabBox for free (donations accepted) from the developers website and give it a try today.
