We mentioned Grooveshark's web-based music streaming service in last week's Free App Friday, but today it's available in the official App Store as a streaming music app--one to add alongside the likes of Pandora and Last.FM.
The app was once denied by the App Store judges, so the company made it available in the Cydia store to jailbroken iOS devices. Fortunately, the tables have turned and the Grooveshark app is now available as a free download [iTunes link].
Also, we should mention that VIP access is available for only $3 a month, which is a quite a deal for Grooveshark's capabilities--we've found even the most obscure songs available through this particular music service, and on demand, too.

I just tried finding it.... it's not on itunes OR cydia!! I even clicked the link in the article... nope... nada
