HTC Sues Apple Over Patent Infringement

Today, HTC issued a statement claiming that they will be taking legal action against Apple for five patent infringements.
According HTC vice president Jazon Mackenzie, "[HTC is] taking this action against Apple to protect our intellectual property, our industry partners, and most importantly our customers that use HTC phones."
HTC also filed a request with the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) for Apple to halt sales of the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. This lawsuit is most likely a response to the suit filed by Apple back in March over claims of 20 different patent infringements.
