Hulu Going Subscription in 2010 - Prediction: Hulu disappears by 2011
News Corp. Deputy Chairman, Chase Carey revealed Hulu's new plan at an industry Summit in New York. Broadcast and Cable reports that Carey informed reporters that a subscription based system is likely but, there may still be some free content.
Probably Magnum PI episodes.
Carey added, "“I think a free model is a very difficult way to capture the value of our content. I think what we need to do is deliver that content to consumers in a way where they will appreciate the value.”
So how about that fancast.com?

I see Hulu disappearing sooner than 2011, since Crapcast purchased NBC Universal, which is a shame, as now SyFy and other great channels will start to suck more and be less available on other providers networks. Though it makes me wonder where M$ is in all this, since they too have partial ownership in NBC.
