Sure, the iPad may not have Flash, but Hulu could be working on a new video player destined for the iPad.
A new post from TechCrunch suggests that Hulu, the online video content provider, could be creating a new video player that will work with the iPad.
TechCrunch notes that Hulu's content is already in H.264 format and has been since 2008. Since the iPhone/iPod touch/iPad all support H.264 content through QuickTime, these devices could natively support the content; however, advertisements would be iffy. Hulu would most likely create a new website that uses HTML 5 to present the video content (similar to the way YouTube has been doing things), or create their own application that could run on the iPad.
Either way, Hulu could be the killer application for iPad if this rumor turns out to be true. You can read the full story on TechCrunch.
