HyperMac batteries have been around for a while now, and are great at charging your MacBook and small USB devices. But, these battery packs were incompatible with the iPad via the included USB port because of the 10-watts it requires to charge.
Fortunately, HyperMac has refreshed their line of battery packs to enable 10-watts over USB in order to charge the iPad. They now have the following capacities that are iPad-friendly:
- 60Wh ($169)
- 100Wh ($269)
- 150Wh ($369)
- 222Wh ($469)
The battery packs can provide enough charge for the iPad to withstand 34 to 99 hours of use. In addition, you can recharge the pack up to 1,000 times.
You can check out the details of these battery packs on HyperMac's website.
