iBooks Goes Live in App Store
Another Piece of the iPad puzzle just dropped in the the App Store. The iBooks app just went live in the App store and is ready for download.
You can shop for, and purchase books directly from within the app. All of your purchased and imported ePub format books are stored on a virtual bookshelf inside the app.
The iBooks app only works with the iPad so even if you download it now, you won't be able to try it out until you get your hands on your iPad on Saturday.
The app includes a free copy of Winnie-the-Pooh by A. A. Milne.

I can't even figure out how to browse the book catalog WITH my iPad! Seems like I can only browse "Featured" books, "Recent Releases" and "Top Purchases". I know there are more books because I can search for more. But is there any way to browse the whole catalog? I can't figure it out! (Same goes for regular iPad apps in the App Store)

is there any way to browse the collection of books available in ibooks without having an iPad? I hope so, because one of the main reasons I'm waiting to buy one is to check out the selection of ebooks first...
