iFixit Tears Down 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display (Now with Kittens!)

Do you love new product teardowns? What about kittens? These two great tastes finally go great together with the latest iFixit teardown which guts a brand-new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display.
iFixit has wasted no time getting their hands on a shiny new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display, and they've got the high-resolution photographs to prove it. With the help of some adorable kittens, they're in the process of tearing down Apple's latest and greatest notebook.
"Apple just expanded their Retina family. The newest bundle of joy: a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display," the teardown begins. "It's small, it's sleek, and all those pixels are pretty darn snazzy. What goes best with a new gadget? Yep, you guessed it: kittens. So, for this teardown, we brought in the the big guns."
Promising that "no kittens were harmed in the making of this teardown," iFixit attacked the 13-inch Retina MacBook with spudgers, pentalobe and Torx screwdrivers in hand. So what did they -- and the kittens -- find?
"The 13-inch MacBook Retina is slightly more recyclable than the 15-inch Retina," iFixit noted. "Once inside, it took us *only* 15 minutes of prying to remove the battery, and we didn’t puncture the battery cells. It was definitely a doable feat (compared to nearly impossible for the 15-inch Retina), but still a far cry from the no-adhesive, non-Retina MacBook Pros…"
