Ordinarily we don't tend to post about small-scale iOS app sales. Usually we save those kinds of articles for gigantic company-wide sales around holidays, but this time we're going to make an exception. Maybe we're just in that kind of mood, or maybe it's a slow news day. Or maybe it's because these two games could justifiably be called the two best games ever released for iOS.
We've posted about these two quite a bit in the past, and if you've managed to resist the urge to try them out up until now then today you'll be rewarded because you'll be able to get each for a significantly discounted price.
Infinity Blade, the gorgeous sword-fighting action game from Epic Games and ChAIR Entertainment will be on sale for $2.99 down 50% from its normal price point. The game just received a long awaited update that adds free multiplayer to the package and lets players fight against their friends via Game Center.
Chaos Rings is in a similar position. This lauded iOS RPG from famous role-playing developer Square Enix (Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest) is going on sale to promote the release of Chaos Rings Omega, a prequel that released last night. It is available for $3.99/$4.99 for a limited time on iPhone/iPad.
Some iOS gamers may not particularly care for big budget games like these, and prefer to stick to smaller puzzle games. However, for action gaming fans these two titles are essential for any gaming library.
