Epic Games announced today that the award-winning iOS title from Chair Entertainment, Infinity Blade [iTunes Link], will be getting a big content update available for free. To coincide with the new update - titled: Infinity Blade: The Deathless Kings - the game will also be offered up for a discount rate for a limited time.
Released in December of 2010, Infinity Blade was one of the most celebrated iOS games in recent memory. It never achieved the mass popular appeal of a game like Angry Birds, but critics and hardcore iOS gamers adored this game for its unique concept and astounding visuals. If you're one of the few holdouts that haven't experienced Infinity Blade yet, there has never been a better or cheaper time.
The expansion pack to this sword fighting action game will include 10 new enemies, six new gameplay areas, and all-new in-game items.
“Support for Infinity Blade continues to grow and fans are going to be blown away by this update that nearly doubles the size of the game with more awesome content,” said Donald Mustard, creative director of Chair Entertainment.
Infinity Blade can be picked up for $2.99 until Sunday, March 6.
