Bet you never thought that this was going to happen: Intego has announced virus protection for your iOS device. The company has released the first malware scanner for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It'll scan email attachments and other files that can be downloaded to your device, as well as files at remote locations like MobileMe, Dropbox and even your WebDav disks.
VirusBarrier iOS includes the VirusBarrier X6 scanning technology will detect viruses that plague both the Mac and Windows platforms, and it won't do so intrusively. Unlike many desktop virus suites, VirusBarrier iOS will only work "on-demand" -- so if you don't want it to scan something, it won't happen.
The $2.99 app will include a 12-month subscription to Intego's malware definition updates, and after that it'll cost $1.99 for each additionally year. You can check out their site for more information.

There are still some on the home page as well as some on here. For example: " VirusBarrie iOS will only work "on-demand"". I think you meant VirusBarrier.

seems useless considering that iOS has NO viruses. i goes if you download files then scan them to see if there a virus before you put it on your mac/pc it has a use
