Never mind the fact that Apple has yet to start selling a white iPhone 4 -- a part leak from China seems to indicate that it isn’t stopping the company from possibly offering the next iPad in white as well.
9to5Mac is reporting that iPhone repair shop iFixYouri have provided them with a part straight out of Shenzhen, China which appears to indicate that the next iPad may come in your choice of black or white. Sure, we know what you’re thinking -- Apple has yet to ship an iPhone 4 in white so why would they be jumping ahead to the iPad 2, right?
The white bezel for the iPad not only features the traditional home button which has been recently rumored to go away, but a small hole up top, presumably for a front-facing, FaceTime-enabled camera. Apple is expected to introduce the next iPad on Wednesday, March 2, although there seems to be plenty of debate on whether or not it will be a true iPad 2 or simply a refreshed model with better specs to tide users over until September when the real sequel arrives.
Regardless, the next iPad is expected to at least be thinner, faster and likely a bit lighter, complete with at least one camera and presumably in versions that will work on both GSM (AT&T) and CDMA (Verizon) networks (or possibly both, which would be quite nice).
Now it appears you’ll have at least one additional choice to make when you decide to buy: What color would you like your new iPad in?
