It's a bird, it's a plane, it's ... an iPad bezel with room for a camera?
The rumor about a camera in the iPad began last week when the fabled device was announced. Several developers realized there were key items in the iPad OS/SDK (Software Development Kit) that hinted the device could potentially have a camera.
Now, MacNN is reporting that a repair company called Mission: Repair has already received spare iPad parts in advance of the release of the device. The repair company has noticed something rather strange, however. At the top of the bezel there's enough room to squeeze an iSight camera like the one found on Apple's notebooks.
Of course, this could mean that Apple surprises us with last-minute plans to include a camera in the iPad; or, more likely, they have plans for a second generation iPad that features this camera, and simply left room for it without having to redesign the entire device.
